Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support our HVAC/mechanical sales operations. This role is responsible for assisting customers with equipment selection, pricing, quotations, order processing, and technical support. The ideal candidate understands HVAC systems and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quotes for HVAC equipment, parts, and mechanical systems
- Assist customers with product selection, specifications, and availability
- Process orders and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams
- Maintain and grow relationships with contractors and repeat customers
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of inside sales experience (HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or construction industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, parts, and equipment (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints or mechanical schedules is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High school diploma required; technical training or degree preferred
